Julian Edwards – CEO, Allergen Accreditation

  • Speaker Bio:

    Julian was a head chef at 17 in Swansea, South Wales.  Following college and working in the hotel and licensed sector he moved to London where he had a career in contract catering.  His experience spans health, education and business and industry catering.  Allergen management and menu planning was part and parcel of meals on wheels and care catering back in the late 80’s.  This experience and 20 years of being a mainstream food service consultant (Designing specifications for food safety, allergen management, sustainability and nutrition as well as quality food service delivery) led to the setting up of Allergen Accreditation in June 2013.  Julian is the current chair of the FCSI (Foodservice Consultants Society International UK&I) and is a Member of the Institute of Hospitality.  On a personal level Julian will be getting married this December when he will then have 5 kids!- so other than work and family his other hobbies and interest hardly exist!
