    Speaker Bio:

    David Canter and Donna Youngs have been working on many aspects of applied psychology for two decades.

    Although best known for their work on ‘profiling’ criminals and the development of Investigative Psychology they have studied a variety of consumer products for major producers and market research companies. This has included whisky for Chivas Regal, biscuits for United Biscuits, chocolates for a major market research company.  They have published widely in academic and professional journals and frequently contribute to radio and  television documentaries. Most recently Dr Youngs was the resident psychologist on the Channel 4 Hunted series.

    New Product Identification: Mapping consumer sonceptualisations

    Presentation Synopsis:

    An innovative use of small sample product categorization is presented. When combined with qualitative structural analysis this allows the identification of new product possibilities.
